Senior Pastor  Stephen Bergfield

Pastor Steve, alongside his wife Annamaria and daughter Marisa, came to Ocean Lakes Church in 2008 with a passion for reaching the Sauls of this world, people who have potential but nowhere to develop it. He has always found strength and guidance in the writings of Paul. Paul started his life as an enemy of Christians but became one of their staunchest supporters after an encounter with the risen Savior. Pastor Steve leads by a desire to shepherd a church that he would want to attend. His leadership style gives Ocean Lakes Church a mark of love for our God, love for one another, and passion for our community. Pastor Steve and his family see Ocean Lakes Church as an extension of their own family, with the same Father.

Associate Pastor Henry Darcus II

Pastor Henry Darcus II has been a pastor at Ocean Lakes Church of God since September 2012 after attending over two years. Henry is currently the Associate Pastor and the Worship Pastor. Henry’s heart centers on helping senior pastors execute their God given dreams while exercising his own talents. Henry often says, “As God leads, we will follow.”

Henry began his ministry in 2007 when licensed with the Southern Baptist Convention. He and his wife, Athina, have been married since 1993 and have one daughter.

Athina has assisted in the children’s ministry as a teacher.
