God’s Words of Encouragement

2 Corinthians 9:8– And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Philippians 4:19– And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Jesus Christ.

Psalms 23:4– Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Deuteronomy 31:6- Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you.

John 14:27– Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Jeremiah 33:3– Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Proverbs 3:5-6– Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Ways To Take Action

Trust in God

Even in the darkest of times, we must never forget that God is always in control.  He will never leave us or betray us.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Pray

Let’s stand on our faith in the goodness of God. Remember to intercede in prayer for the ill, healthcare workers, businesses that remain open to keep communities fed, and the uncertainty of those that have had to close. Finally, let us not forget to pray on behalf of our government, churches, pastors, church leadership, and congregations worldwide.

1 Timothy 2:1 I urge, then,  first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people-

Be a Good Neighbor

While we are all worried about our own health and that of our family members, it is important to remember our neighbors as we are called to do so by God. Each day try to make an effort to contact someone and let them know you are thinking about them and praying for them. This is especially important for anyone living alone.

Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

As always, thank you for your continued faithfulness to God.
